Triangle UFO caught on NASA TV?

A triangle-shaped object appears in one frame of a NASA video feed from the International Space Station, October 17, 2010.

The YouTube video animation includes both half-speed and quarter-speed passes through the video which included the triangle-shaped object. Notice the area around where the triangle disappears--there's a brief disruption in the light level immediately following its appearance and then disappearance. It's as though the space around the "object" grows faintly lighter for a frame or two following its abrupt disappearance. Compression artifacts in the video? Or a byproduct of cloaking? I'm just sayin'...

The Day We Make Contact?

Retired NORAD officer Stanley A. Fulham predicted "a massive UFO display over the world's principal cities" on October 13, 2010 in his book, Challenges of Change.

A shimmering metallic-looking object hovered in clear blue skies over Manhattan's west side in the early afternoon of October 13, 2010. The FAA reviewed radar data and even checked directly with the LaGuardia tower (which reported nothing on their radar in that area). The FAA reportedly found nothing out of the ordinary.

Also yesterday, Twitter posts began to show up linking to a month-old press release announcing the publication of a book by a retired NORAD officer predicting that UFOs would buzz the earth's major cities on Oct. 13.

Chinese UFO or American ICBM?

A Chinese airport (Xiaoshan) was closed and air traffic diverted after a UFO was spotted at around 9pm local time Wednesday.

Chinese UFO over Xiaoshan Airport
Chinese UFO spotted in the sky over Xiaoshan Airport, forcing the airport closed and air traffic diverted elsewhere.

"Some Chinese experts" are suggesting the light is debris from an American intercontinental ballistic missile. Two things make me think that's probably not the case:

1.) No mushroom clouds over any Chinese cities.
2.) ICBM debris doesn't suddenly change direction and accelerate.

Mars Meteorite Photo Oddity

Around 10 days ago, the Mars Rover "Opportunity" rolled up to an 18.5-inch meteorite after a two-day, 92-foot-long journey and took the picture below.

The Mars rover "Opportunity" encounters an 18.5 inch meteorite.

That's interesting enough--a large meteorite just sitting there on the surface of another world. But when you examine a large version of the image, there's something even more fascinating on the horizon.
